Seriously...this again?
Add - I think the clothes have to come off BEFORE you sit on the potty.I'm in for a long day. I've been putting off potty training Addison for some time now. The painful memories of potty training Ellie are still fresh in my mind. And this is Addison. Remember this post? She is my Jekyll/Hyde child. Sweet and delightful one minute - stubborn and mischievous the next. She started showing signs of being ready in October, but we were traveling a lot. Then of course I had to wait until after the busy holiday season. Our trip to Disneyland was my next excuse. Alas, I'm out of excuses. It's got to be done. I am NOT looking forward to this.
I'm all set with our potty chart and stickers, bubble gum (Addison's all time favorite treat), and LOTS and LOTS of my Resolve Carpet cleaner. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.Labels: Addison

You are so awesome! I love that you're geared up and ready to go! Good luck! I still shudder thinking of training Kyle! Alison won't need training for quite a while, so maybe I'll forget about Kyle screaming and hitting me before then!
It's about time already! I don't think this is going to be as bad as you think - she's so ready she practically tells you she's pooping in the middle of the act! You'll be so glad you did it. Save those cute charts for me to use next year!
Potty training really is the worst part of rearing children. Be thankful, though, boys are 10 times harder!

Yeah, good luck!!! I'm getting depressed that all of Madi's friends, even those younger than her, are potty training or already in underwear, and she still doesn't care! "Girls are easier" does NOT apply to my kids!
Bless you!!!! May you have more patience than me. People told me that boys usual come around at age 3. I'm counting on that because I'm done cleaning up messes!
Oh, I so don't envy you. Potty training is not my fave. I love the chart and gumballs.

You go girl! I am still trying to get up the nerve to try again with Owen. At least girls have a direct shot into the potty-the whole 'boy plumbing' is really throwing me for a loop! :0)
I am so impressed! I hate doing this too...How did it go or I guess how is it going? Why don't you just come and potty train JT :) I am scared to do a boy!
